Day 1 – Arrival in Dehradun

Today, upon arrival at Dehradun, you will be greeted by our representative and escorted to your accommodation. The road journey will be of 2 hours. After check-in at the hotel, you may relax or explore the town of Mussoorie. . On the way, we take you to Jharipani Falls, a beautiful waterfall surrounded by lush greenery. It’s a great spot for nature lovers and adventure seekers, and it’s relatively offbeat and less crowded. Upon reaching Mussoorie, you check in and relax.

Day 2 – Mussoorie Sightseeing – Day 1

Today, after breakfast, before sightseeing in Mussoorie, we give you a tour of Landour. Built nearly two centuries ago as a station for soldiers of the British Indian Army, after the Siege of 1857, it grew into a settlement for British and American missionaries, which continued after independence. The place gets its name from a village in Wales called Llanddowror. The two noteworthy places we pass by are Landour Clock Tower and Ruskin Bond’s residence (Ivy Cottage), where this renowned author lives. Next we take you on a sightseeing tour of Mussoorie. We start with Kempty waterfalls. The water falling from about 40 feet creates a natural pool below, where you can take a refreshing dip. It is the ideal time of the year to enjoy the falls. Next, we visit Mall Road. It is famous for shopping and amazing views of the Doon Valley. You can spend some time sitting on the benches overlooking the valley and mountains, or shop, or take a stroll. It is recommended that you visit the Cambridge Book Depot. It has a plethora of books, mostly by Ruskin Bond, who is a local of Mussoorie.

Next, we take you to Gun Hill, the second-highest peak of the region. The peak is accessible through a cable car ride. As you ascend, you get a magnificent view of the Himalayas and the valley below. There is no better way to spend the evening atop a cable car and witness a magnificent sunset on the Himalayas. After watching the sunset, you may return back to your hotel or spend time at Mall Road for shopping and savoring some local street food.

Day 3 – Mussoorie Sightseeing – Day 2

Today, after breakfast we cover some more sightseeing places of Mussoorie and Landour. First, we take you to Clouds End. It is known for pleasant scenic views of hills with an enjoyable climate. Surrounded by dense oak and deodar forests, it offers a tranquil retreat away from the bustling town. The area is renowned for its panoramic views of the Aglar River Valley and the snow-capped Himalayas. The surrounding forests are rich in biodiversity, making it a haven for nature enthusiasts and bird watchers. Next, we take you to the Company Garden. Also known as the Atal Udyan or Municipal Garden, it was set up by the British in the early 20th Century. With more than 800 flowering plants, a manmade lake, and lawns, this garden is a place to spend some time with the blooms of Mussoorie. Next we take you to Lal Tibba, the highest point in Mussoorie. It is also the oldest inhabited place in Mussoorie. It offers one of the most breathtaking panoramic views in the region.

Next, we take you to CharDukan, a group of 4 eateries shops termed the coolest place to hang about in Landour. It is often considered the starting point for a memorable Landour Infinity Walk. The “Landour Infinity Walk” provides a 3-4 hour private experience, exploring colonial buildings, forests, and local history, all while enjoying views of the Dehradun valley and Himalayan ranges. The walk typically starts at Char Dukan in Landour and includes visits to places like the Kellogg Memorial Church and other points of interest. 

Day 4 – Travel to Dhanaulti

Today, after breakfast, you check out of the hotel. We take you to Kanatal, a town around 40 km from Mussoorie. On the way, we take you first to Eco Park. It is a newly developed park by the Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) and the citizens of Dhanaulti. As you walk through the park, the large deodar trees and the flora and fauna give you a rejuvenating experience. Next, we take you to Deogarh Fort. Built in the 16th century, The fort’s stunning palaces are adorned with intricate murals that showcase a bygone era’s architectural brilliance. Next, we take you to Adventure Park, where you can indulge in various activities like trekking, rappelling, rock climbing, zip-lining, valley crossing, mountain biking, sky walking, and river crossing.

Next, we take you to Surkanda Devi temple. Dedicated to Goddess Sati, it is a Shakti Peeth. Legend says that when Lord Shiva carried Sati’s corpse after she self-immolated, her head fell at this sacred spot.After reaching Kanatal, you check into the hotel. Post lunch, we take you to Chamba. It is a popular destination because of its unpolluted beauty and panoramic excursions offering tranquility and exquisiteness. Night stay in Kanatal.

Day 5 – Drop at Dehradun

Today post breakfast, you have the day to yourself. Around 4 hours prior to your flight home, we drop you to Dehradun. You return home with fond memories of Mussoorie with loads of pictures and experiences to share with family and friends.
